Ordering
We roast everything to order; though we’ll often have a small surplus of fresh coffee on hand. We believe in our product, and freshness is key. In fact, it’s our preoccupation. We try to put coffee in your hands or on the shelves within 24 hours of roasting: coffee generally tastes best within one or two days of roasting. For best results, try to order whatever you’ll need for seven to ten days: you’ll notice a considerable decline in freshness after two weeks.
We can package coffee in half-pound, 12 ounce, or full-pound increments at the roastery, and all orders of 12 ounces or more come in a protective, foil-lined bag, heat-sealed to preserve freshness. Smaller orders still come packaged up according to the specific needs of small-batch orders: a roll-top, tin-tie bag that protects fresh beans.
We’re happy to grind your order for you. Just let us know what type of brewing technique you use when you place your order, be it press pot, Chemex, Melita, basket filter, or espresso maker.
